Transportation Administrative Assistant Adria Tisdale was announced as the 2024 winner of the HCI Outstanding Volunteer Award, which recognizes an individual who goes above and beyond to support Halff Community Initiative, Halff’s non-profit organization.
Deputy Operations Manager and HCI Steering Committee Chair Melanie Cleavelin announced the award during Halff’s End of Year State of the Company presentation on Dec. 4, 2024. “Any success HCI has achieved this year is due to her hard work,” said Melanie. “Adria has a servant heart and truly embodies the spirit of HCI.”
In 2024, Adria kept track of all the charity suggestions, approvals, purchases and donations. She not only helped with the volunteer events in Richardson, but was always willing to jump in and help any office that needed assistance with purchases and donations.
Adria delivered Sweet Cases packed and decorated for Foster Love during HCI Giving Week.
The award, created in 2022, goes to an exemplary individual who not only supports HCI but embodies it. They are a leader who loves to serve others, representing the heart of HCI. Awardees are nominated by the steering committee and selected by the board.
The Halff Community Initiative (HCI) began in 2017 as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. Halff’s employees run HCI, which is designed to give back to the communities where we live and work. Helping people and changing lives is the mission of HCI. In 2023, HCI donated to more than 110 organizations in communities throughout Halff’s footprint.
